Map India 2004, 7th annual international conference or Indian's Largest Conference and Exhibition on GIS, GPS, Aerial Photography & Remote Sensing (as they used to advertise this event).

This was indeed a very large conference as was clear from a huge participation. More than 1000 delegates from 17 countries (Australia, Canada, India, Iran, Malaysia, Singapore, The Netherlands, UK, USA to name a few) participated and presented over 200 papers in the conference.

I with Nitish went there to present our paper titled "Development of a Simulator for Airborne Altimetric LiDAR".
